A pink tutu

The other day I was in Spotlight with my two little sidekicks when Angel Baby spotted some hot pick tulle and immediately asked me if I could make her (yet another tutu). I was able to convince her that a dusty pink might be a slightly better choice of colour.
To make the tutu I took two very long strips of tulle gathered them. I then made a really thick waistband out of white stretchy fabric and sandwiched the tulle between the top and the bottom of the waistband (so that there was no spiky tulle to touch Angel Babies tummy.
She loves it because it sticks out (she has since informed me that her tutus that don't stick out are not tutus), it is pink and she can easily put it on and off on her own to her hearts content.

We are not sure where her little obsession with ballet has come from but she is always showing us (and anyone who will give her a moment) her moves. Some are traditional...
and some are not so traditional.
